We can now supply a complete VNT (variable nozzle turbine) Garrett turbocharger installation kit
for Defender and Discovery 200 & 300 TDI.

In Stage One maximum boost is restricted to 1.0 BAR (15 psi) max power with uprated intercooler is 138 b.h.p.  torque 243 lb.ft.

In Stage Two mode, boost is increased to 1.5 BAR, producing upto 160 b.h.p. and 275 lb.ft.

The match of the turbocharger to the engine is such that low speed driveability is impressive, coupled to optimum fuel economy.

In Stage Two mode, acceleration in Defender 90 models is better than uprated TD5s.

The system lends itself to off-road and competition use.

The installation kit includes:

• Garrett AMC VT5 turbo
• Adjustable actuator
• Exhaust manifold
• Exhaust turbine outlet
• Compressor discharge pipe
• Oil feed and drain hoses
• All nuts/bolts/gaskets etc.
